Just out of curiosity, I was wondering about the animations in videogames. I was wondering if somebody knew which software they use to make the animation in videogames, such as in the final fantasy serie.

The animation 'engines' are quite complex and are developed by the Games designers 'in house' in most cases.

Yes, but often they import their models. No point writing an entire modeling program when you don't have to.
