I love mine, compatibles are available but still not strictly cheap, but they do a superb job. I would have no qualms in recomending it. If you have £320 spare it's a steal. If thats a little bit much I dont know what to recomend. Dan wilt Jan 04, 2003, 05:23 PM Yeah the 950's a fantastic printer for cd's and dvd's. Expensive but far better than labels. It's a pity the printable disc's cost more. There are standalone printers....like the TDK but these are pants compared to the epson. Low resolution and doesn't cover all the disc. There was also a cheaper epson printer sold under another name that could print on disc's, but i can't remember what it was called. padehu Jan 04, 2003, 08:39 PM how much cash are you tallking about for ink refills ? i have started to drop hints that this would make an ideal birthday pressie jennmeister Jan 05, 2003, 04:23 AM Matisse Gold £297 CD/DVD Colour Printer http://www.cd-rduplicators.co.uk/cdprintermatisse.htm Dimensions: Length 18.2" (460mm) Width 13.8" (350mm) Height 6.61" (168mm) Net Weight: 11.7lbs (5.3kg) without cartridges Power Consumption: Energy Star Compliant Drivers: Windows 3.1, Windows 95, 98, NT4, Macintosh* (not postscript) Media Support & Handling: Prints directly onto the surface of CD/DVD & CD Business Cards, uses a double disc rubber coated rigid aluminium tray (caddie) for extra smooth carriage. Still a lot of money but the cartridges are cheap. And you do realise you need to spray your discs with something to stop them scratching. I had some samples through once, and I must admit they were absolutely stunning. Just too expensive. angel12 Jan 06, 2003, 01:18 PM Dont know if this helps mate but there is a printer out now from TDK wich prints directly on to the disc no messing with paper good qual also .. my mate has one he paid £90 for it cant give u a link but try tdk main website .. as for cart issues again I dont know what the cost is but my m8 is well impressed with his .. just something else to look into maybe petemac Jan 06, 2003, 02:16 PM try svp mate in the special offers theres 1 fo about £90 petemac DARRENNO5 Jan 06, 2003, 04:18 PM thanks for all your help just been offerd a epson c62 what prints on to disc anyone got any comments about this model danman Jan 06, 2003, 06:17 PM It'll be a custom job as you're no doubt aware.
