Want to copy movies with all extras on them & ps2/xbox games.
Iz pioneer a05/105 the best?
Is the Sony dvd burner any good?
Is it possible to copy dvd movies on 1 disc with all extras on them, I know there are double sided blank dvd discs available but can u get double layer ones to fit the movies on 1 disc?

Moving this to CoOp.

Best is a very subjective thing.
The Sony (assuming you mean the DRU-500A) is fine.
There is no such thing as a dual layer blank.

Hi m8

Do a search on the forums as this question gets asked hundreds of times, use google as well as you'll find lots of sites with reviews on DVDRW....

If you look in the consumers opinion/DVD forum you'll find that Pioneer & Sony are the most mentioned (Not in any particular order though..:) )

Both the Pioneer A05/105 & Sony DRU500 have been having problems with media, look through the forums theres a sticky in the DVD forum regarding issues with the Pioneer and media. The Sony seems impossible to get hold of in the UK at the moment but it has the advantage of being able to write to -/+ R/RW...

I've got the 105 and it has performed flawlessly for me although I have'nt forked out for any 4x media so cant say what the performance is like regarding that.....

Hi M8
I'm using the Pioneer 105 writing on white label 1x DVD-R discs, these run on the PS2 with no probs. As mentioned above I haven't forked out for 4x media yet, whats the point when you can burn a game in less than an hour.

Cheers
