At the moment i am running windows ME but cannot rip anything over 4GB i know why so i am upgrading to windows XP pro my question is At the moment i am using ASPI V4.60 i have been told that these are the best drivers to use for ripping and writing is this true. Also when i upgrade are these drivers compatible with XP pro or is there better drivers out now ?

4.60 will work fine under XP (32bit version anyway) you are however welcome to try the newer Adaptec versions if you want or any other ASPI layer you want.
