Just got a DVD Burner and when i use nero to burn everything goes well until it asks me to put the blank medium in. It say DVD-R/RW or DVD+R/RW
so i put in a dvd-r and it will spin then eject and say this is not a right medium. does anyone know whats going on? thanks in advance.

What model burner, what brand media and what version of Nero??

Im using a DVD-Ram/R burner its a Panasonic/Matsushita Burner Model lf-d310. it says it only burns at 1X. I got these dvd-r media from a friend it has pink tops and say dvd-r 4.7gb but it has no brand name on it. Also im using Nero 5.5.80. thanks and sorry again celtic. thanks for your help in advance.

Try upgrading to the newest version of Nero, and try some better dvdr media, I have never seen the brand you are describing.
