I could use some assistance finding a new mobo if anyone has the time and knowledge to help me out. :)

What I'm looking for:

- decent branded mobo (Abit, Asus, Gigabyte, etc)

- CPU Support: Celeron 1.0ghz up through P4, FCPGA2

- FSB: the faster the better ;)

- Memory: SDRAM (2 slots) + DDR slots (w/ support for as many GBs of RAM possible)

- AGP: 1 slot with support for 4x and 8x

- PCI: 5 slots +

- IDE: 2 minimum (for 4 devices), Ultra DMA up to 133

- USB: 2 is plenty

Price is a factor of course, but willing to pay a little extra if I can find a mobo with all of the above. :) Thanks in advance to anyone that can point me in the right direction. :)

Checked it out and they have much in the way of details on their mobos. Besides, I'm in the US. ;) Thanx for the link though. :)

The only mobos I have seen that support DDR and standard SDRAM both, were at NewEgg.com and they were generic-brand mobo which I'd rather stay away from. Perhaps the big-name manufacturers aren't making mobos that allow either type of RAM?

ECS have a couple i used the ECS K7AMA which has 2 DDR and 2 SDRAM slots but my PSU blew up and the motherboard got screwed, now i've got the ASUS A7V266 but this doesn't have SDRAM slots. You could try going to the manufacturers websites: www.ecs.com.tw www.asus.com.tw HTH
