anyone help me out in the uk????

Just got a new computer (macintosh) with built in dvd burner - before i go out to my local high street store in the UK and get ripped off buying blank dvd-r media.(£5 a shot) Wanted to know what brands of cheap dvd-r's will work for backing up ps2 games and backing up movies that will also play successfully on a Pioneer 350 DVD Player. Average cost of disk and where to buy from would be even more helpful/ online stores i've gathered would be the cheapest....

Cheers people

email me directly if you want at sunil_parmar@hotmail.com

i always use traxdata and white label for my ps2 games and most of the others even the cheapies will do for films.try svp and big pockets on the web they are quite good and cheap for dvd-rs.you can even buy a sample pack from svp of different types of media so as you can find out whats good or bad for you.

First thing to know is never buy blank dvdr media from the shops, they will always rip you off, always buy online and always get blanks that use the Ritek Dye, I buy FWS and have never had a bad disc and I only use them for films and PS2 games. (if the PS2 game is over 4gb it is a good idea to use media like Verbatim as the dvd will be accessed alot)
