i bought a dvd burner on ebay for cheap. and it's dvd-r i cant or dunno how 2 burn the games cuz when i put it in my ps2 it dont work. can anyone help me out. Oh and CAn u copy ps2 dvd-rs or originals with any dvd-r burner?

do u know wut type of burner it is...
i think u haveta have some specific brand type burners that can burn them...
o ya make sure also that it is DVD-R and not DVD+R cuz the + makes a big diff.. dont think ps2 reads those types

If you have a Pionner DVD-R Writer you are ok, just use Primo to create a Global Image of a game and then bunr that, thats what I do and I have never had a bad disc.

Just a quick question, you never said if you had a modchip in your system or not. Just wondering if you did because you do need one.

Well, technically you don't need a modchip. A fliptop with swap magic would do, but anyway. To answer his question, yes - You can burn PS2 games with any DVD burner.

i just bought a mirror dvd-r and some bulkpaq and packardbell dvdr's both the drive and the disks work great in my ps2

yes i got the magic 3 so ima try 2 uses primo sounds like it would work with that but i got it for 180 on ebay some cheap name but its dvd-r so i'm hoping it would work with that program thxs ppl.

Cendyne DVD Burner (Actually Pioneer 105 it says) has worked great so far about 15 backups no problems.

I have a Messiah instaleld but you dont really need one, just use the knife method and a copy of Action Replay.
