hi ppl, having problem with my printer, turn it on then the red and green lights flash one after the other, tried everything i know, wondered if anyone else knew what i could do?

Hi Wayguns, disconect the printer lead, is it usb or parallel?

If the lights still flash its a printer problem..

did you recently replace any cartridges? try taking them both out and then refitting them, use the print monitor to test the nozzles, if it starts up, power it off, put the lead back in and switch it back on then try and print a test page

tried what you said m8, still no joy, reinstalled software and matainence program, its telling me it needs repairing inside the printer, is this a common fault with these?? if anyone has had this happen to them and repaired it can you lmk what it was? any help appreciated

by the way, its connected through usb cable
