I'm a proud XBOX owner - but I've bought a PS2 for a 2nd console.
What's the situation with chipping.

Q. Do you need an action replay cart as well as a chip?

Q. Will an unchipped PS2 play copied DVDs (DVDR movies?)

Q. Why are PS2 DVDR games more expensive than XBOX (BST forum)

Q. WIll the block type Scart lead (that comes with the PS2) allow me to play NTSC/American/ Jap games (back up ones).

P.S - I only bought the console for GTA Vice City and Pro Evoltion 2. Amazing games.

If you only bought it for 2 games, just buy originals of the 2.

Use the PS2 forum and read the stickies in there also. ALL OF THEM
