I need help and advice to enable me to start a trading at computer fairs.

I have thought about this for some time and have now got a bit of money together to enable me to buy my stock. But i need to know if anyone can out me in contact with ,I guess, wholesalers who the traders but their stcok from.

I realize that most sellers will require minimun orders, but this is not a problem.

I would be interested in CD/R, CD/RW, Jewel Cases, Compatible ink,DVD/R, Paper,Labels ANd computer hardware as well.

Could anyone offer any advice on the above. I know this is a long shot but its my only avenue of research at hte moment.

Cheers

From my experience, there is very little profit on disc media. It all boils down to the more you buy, the less it costs, but again we are talking about huge quantities & small margains.

You are better off dealing with disc suppliers direct, you get better rates, but again you have to order big to be classed as a distributer(10,000 discs give or take) otherwise they will pass you on to one of there distributers, who will then make there cut when supplying to you for smaller quantities.

Best advice is to diverse in what you sell & be prepared to be twidleling your thumbs for a few weeks until people get to know you are there.
Get to know some of the other traders there & try to pick up some contacts.

Good luck.

I think you will find most disc sellers are moving on to other lines as the profits are next to nothing and the compatition is fierce. I would advise you thought about finding something differant to sell.
