Evening!

I've just purchased one of these fine burners today after reading all the ace reviews people have given them on here.

With my old writer 8X speed burning was dangerous territory - I've got loads of albums stored on my HD that I've never had time to burn with my old writer but now I should be able to get them on CD with the Liteon pretty sharpish...

Before I go and slap them on to disks can anyone tell me if there should be a maximum speed I should be burning MP3s to Audio CDs at for this writer? - I'll not have time to listen to all of the albums straight away to check they're error free so I'll be gutted if I burn them at too fast a speed, delete them off my HD then find out I've burnt a pile of coasters!!!

I'm using Datasafe Silver Premium CDRs

Can anyone give me any advice/experiences???

Cheers!!!! :gabby:

burn a dozen cds and then check them for errors , if no errors go at max , if you get bad sectors then slow the burn down .
