Yeah i chipped my first Xbox (v1.1) yesterday and the ninth wire (the grey one) was almost impossible for me so i extended the wire flipped the board over and found an anternative point, If you follow the circuit board up theres a solder point thats rather large compared to the original, almost as large as the others anyway its the 3rd point from the left i suggest using a magnifing glass as the board tracks run close together its difficult to follow. I'm no expert obviously but this worked for me if you have never used a soldering iron before take your time but dont hold the iron on the board for loger than a few seconds and use tape to isolate any exposed wire. Thanks Team Xecutor this was so easy compared to the messiah and neo of the Ps2.
