Jaymus Jan 13, 2003, 08:12 PM Could be settings on your TCPIP thing in windows also. Make sure the connection you have is full duplex, there is a thread on it, but I forgot :p
dylan tracy Jan 13, 2003, 08:41 PM how do i fix it or correct the problem
Mozbius Jan 14, 2003, 07:59 PM I've got the same freaking problem here! I checked on many forums and nobody seemed to have a clue of what's wrong. My PC and xbox are connected to a Linksys hub with no crossover used. I've tried many ftp clients (cute ftp, ws ftp, bullet proof ftp, fxp...) none resolved the situation! I've played around with the pasv/not pasv setting, flushing cache... But I still got the problem. I tried to ftp from the xbox to my PC with xbftp but the problem was still there. What's strange though is that the size of the file doesn't seem to have anything to do with the problem. I guess that you're able to send whatever you want to the xbox but when it comes to download some particular files from the xbox it doesn't seem to work... Right?

dylan tracy Jan 14, 2003, 08:52 PM ya.. a lot of the little files dont work for me.. like most of the ini files and the text
Ford_Prefect Jan 26, 2003, 10:33 PM I have the the same problem. Most disks transfer fine but sometimes I cannot backup a certain file. This has only happened on a few originals - most work fine. Kinnda frustrating. All DVD orignals that refused to copy looked great. Almost seems like bad sector copy protection. And has only happened on a few of the latest games.
Anyway, for me it was not FTP related but read error. I couldn't use the utilities to direct copy to disk.
Bummer! Thinking about the lazer tweak but I have not had any issues reading DVD-R or originals.
