I saw yesterday a Pioneer dvd burner for 250 but it only burns in the -R format. I'm hearing that the -R format will be replaced with the +R format, I don't want to buy something that will be useless in a year HELP:eek:  The only reason I want a dvd burner is to back up my games not to copy dvd's, I can make svcd to do that and the media is ALOT CHEAPER!!
Thanks once again:beer:

Erm.......whoever told you that was having a larf mate :D :D :D
There are 2 formats both +r and -r and both are going to be around for the forseeable future
Oh and another thing - £250 for a Pioneer is a rip off mate - have a look on the BST forum - theres links to sites that have em for around £195 ;)
