hey, i upgraded to win xp - now my plextor 12/10/32s cdrw is displayed as a cdrom drive. I updated the firmware from the official website but it has made no difference........

can anyone help me?

Perhaps this is a stupid questions, but does your Plex still in fact work?
My Plex 1210ta is displayed as a cdrom drive in XP but it still burns great. If you still have a problem, I should move this to the Open to all computer related topics forum where you will get a whole lot more help.
