Can I convert .rm to .mpg and put the files on a DVD-R and play them back on my DVD player?

Yes,

You need RealPlayer, EOVideo and TMPGEnc

hey, i converted one of the .rm files to .mpg, but when i tried to open in it in Windows Media Player, i didn't get a picture and there was a clicking sound every couple of seconds on the audio. anyone know why?

If the .rm file plays in RealPlayer then you may need to update your MPG Codecs - http://www.vcdhelp.com/tools.htm#codecs. Also check your settings in TMPGEnc, change the framerate down from 60fps to 24 or 25 fps

what do i need to d/l from that site? i don't see any mpg codecs
