believe me mate, dvdr movies do work! it's deffo a media problem, or a proggy burning problem, just experiment until you find the right match.

thats true. I have even noticed that if I order 100 in bulk the first 50 might be different from the last. By the way, what burner do you have? I really think the A05 and maybe even A04 might have some issues.

The only issue I can find with the 104 & 105 is that the 104 is much better. I have both in my system and I am using the 104 more and more, Pioneer have really made a boo boo with the 105.
As for skipping I can understand it with Bulkpaq (fake TDK) but Traxdata have always done the job for me. At the moment I have a combination that works, NEO Premium, 104 with hacked 1.40 FW and Nero 5.5.9.9. Out of a pack of 25 only 2 have failed which ain't a bad ratio if you ask me.
If the next 25 work like the first I'll soon be looking to swap my 105 for another 104.

Dont burn over 1x and make sure the computer is doing nothing at the same time, thats what I do and I have never had a bad disc.
