When my backup-game starts up, the car and the trees look ok, but the envirnoment - my god! Everything is red, the sky, the road, the houses...
And everywhere you can read the same **** (in green) "Bad Artist, No Cookie" !!! It isn't possible to drive under such bad conditions!

I have never seen something like that. Is it a new kind of protection or what??? Can somebody tell me what it is? Has somebody the same problem? Maybe I use a wrong exe-File?

Thanks

Might be your graphic card mate, I has a similar problem with Battlefield 1942, the graphics were all 1 colour and in one case the background was made up of british and german flags, very strange.

Yeah, you were right Indiana Jones. It is the card, as I found out EA-Games does not support Kiro-series relateted graphic chips.

Thanks!

ahhh being a kryo user myself i had the same prob , well mate u will be please to hear there is a fix , and here is ......

Go into the 3D Optimization tab in the display settings, create a new profile for nfshp2.exe

Check "Defer Render until Flip" box in the direct3d and the opengl tabs and then apply.

Run regedit and Find "nfshp2.exe"

It should find .....\KYRO\Game Settings\D3D, some setttings will already be there

Add a new string called 'DXTExposeCaps' and set the value to 1.

Scroll down a bit and create a new key in ..\KYRO\Game Settings\DDraw called "nfshp2.exe". don't add no strings to this one

if u have the DEVIANCE rip u will have to use nfshp2.ori instead of nfshp2.exe

good luck and enjoy this great game :):)
