am i allowed to use xp pro on more than one machine, and does i matter if both machines have an internet connection (microsoft checking etc)

i forgot to say the pcs i wanna use it on are mine, i dont mean on two different pc's belonging to two different people etc

No, the licence is for "one" system per disc only.
