I have an 80 gig hard drive and i just deleted two movies that are 4 gig each. On my computer is says that i only have 4 gig free. But if i select all the folders on the hard drive they all add to 27 gig. So why is me pc thinking i only have 4 gig when i should have more.

check your recycle bin...check Temp folder...reboot

I have cheked me recycle bin and its empty and also i have Norto Antivirus 2003 installed and its called it Norton Recycle bin for some reason. Checked the temp folder and nothing there to delete. Also i have already rebooted and nothing.

I have sorted it. Just said to me pc to show all the system files and then it showed me a norton recycle folder. Checked that it was 44 gig of recycled stuff that norton had backed if i ever wanted them.

So just deleted everything in there and i have all the space back ;)
