I have been play socom (original) for a while now.. This weekend I decide to play wit some of my backups. I cant get my backups to load anymore....


1. Boot ps2 wit GS
2. Place DMC demo
3. wait until ps2 reads the TOC
4. go to the "Press X to start game screen"
5. do the Knife method
6. insert backup
7. hit X


When I do this its just freezes at this screen... what am I doing wrong?

Is your DMC demo dirty? Might be your laser or your disk needs cleaning

I thought it was the DMC disk, I did a test and it booted up though the GS and DMC worked...

I guess it might be may laser...
