Simple what I want to do is create image of a gamecube disc and put it on my computer. My DVD Drive reads the disc but when i click the drive in my comp windows says it can't open it becuase it is corrupt or something. How do I read these discs. Do I need a special program to rip them. I know it can be done because read articles on people ripping gc games before. Any ideas? Thanx

mate you will not be able to just rip the game with a program with your DVD rom if they have that news to me. ive heard how they done it but you would have to open up the GC and connect it to the PC somehow & plus i don't know even if that true.

That all i know on the subject.

apparently they have ripped the games by directly accessing the internal ide ports of the gamecube and removing the data bit-by-bit - thats all the info thats been released so far -however they still havent got a backup to load yet

The games have been ripped. They do not have any type of mod to the hardware that will play the ripped games though.

You have to do what you do with the xbox to rip them, use the network adapter but because it hasent been released yet it will be awhile till we can do it and then the media will have to be released because I dont think you can just use a minidvd as the GameCube isnt designed to read them.
