I'm having a problem burning "Need for Speed Porsche 2000" for the PSX, I used clonyXXL and clonecd, it burned ok, but when a race starts in the game there is a problem with the sound like a loud cracking, it only happens during a race.
How could I fix this prob?
Thanks

It looks like the only part of the psx game that isn't burning properly is the audio files, becuase when I put the original disc in my burner I can play the 16 audio files with windows media player but when I play the burned disc in the pc, the audio files play, but the sound is comletely distorted.
Is there a way of fixing this problem with the audio files? or is there a way of removing the audio files? they are just the music for the game not the sound effects.

You are burning too fast, no more than 4x for good copies.

I burned the first one at 4x and the second one at 1x but it didn't make any difference.

did you try making an image first? the clicking sounds seems, to me, buffer underrun's, read 'em slow enuff, or perhaps is the disc scratched? in that case try toothpaste, wax, ... cleaning it up anywayz
maybe you can remove the audio tracks using cdrwin (making an image, the coloured dots indicate the tracks, it's explained right below it), i never tried that but it may work...
