My computers dvd rom drive plays all the commercial dvd films, copies of commercial films and a lot of brands of dvd but today I received three discs all Bulkpaq ,generation 3 - from 2 different traders, one with mp3 and one with mp3+g and neither will play. Could it just be the media, surely not?

probably - my liteon plays and reads most dvd/rs but theres always a few it wont read and i have to use my artec dvrom to read them.

So they are no different to standalone DVD players, I dont suppose there is a place similar to VCDhelp for dvdroms to check for compatibility? I just spent quite a bit of money on these dvds thinking they would be readable like the Traxdata discs I already have,. sniff,sniff.
