Ok
I have a philips 724AT dvd player and it reads memorex dvd-rw's very well. I have been making backups with my dvd movies. I recently bought some prinoco dvd-rw's. I used dvdxcopy to backup my movies like usual but when i put the backup up movie, that was burnt to a princo dvd-rw, my dvd player says it is a dvd-rw that has photos on it and starts to read like 800 photos when they don't exist and the movie never runs. Would burning this movie in a different format make my dvd player read it ok? I see that there is different formats you can burn on a dvd-r/rw's. Would it help if i burned in UDF or some other format? Please help

try burning it onto dvdr instead of rw, rw is harder to read, and maybe the cause, besides, r is far cheaper than rw

I would really hate to do that cause if the dvdr doesn't work i just wasted my money. So you really think that the media change will work? Hmm i was hoping i could just write it in a different format.
