i burnt the cd, it completed but when i put it back in my pc to play it my wmp reads the tracks but there is no music. when i open my computer it shows it being an audio cd but says there is nothin on it. ive tried a diff program and it did the same thing, i have easy cd creator and i tried nero. ive also tried switchin brands of cds and the same result. help me please

Exactly what kind of files were you trying to burn as audio? What was the file extension on the files you used? Is this just with audio, or does it happen with data discs also? Has this just started happening, or has it ever worked?

Check out the Problem section at Alex Nichol's site for a possible fix. Try the Update. XP seems to have problems with some devices and can create flaky burns. The update is supposed to fix this http://www.aumha.org/a/xpcd.htm
