Hi,

I have a dvd that has pcm audio. When I use dvd decrypter to demux vobs to m2v and pcm, the pcm wont play in media player or any other media program. I thought pcm was just a uncompressed wav file?. I would like to know how to convert my pcm to a wav file. I have tried to convert the pcm to ac3 in ac3 machine, but it doesnt recognise the pcm file. Any idea's?

Try Besweet. . . that might work for you but no gaurantees. How big is the pcm file? Maybe it is really an mpeg2 audio file but misnamed? A PCM file is usually anywhere from 1-2 gigs in size.

The pcm file is about 1.5 gb. I have tried besweet, but the ac3 file I get from it is all crackles and hisses. I used DVD2AVI to save a project file, and demuxed the pcm to wav from my vobs. I then used ac3 machine to convert my wav to ac3, and it worked, but when I used Spruce Up to author my dvd, the audio is out of sync with the video. I just dont know what to try, or maybe I should give up. I dont know why they didnt just use ac3, as pcm audio on dvd's is a bit old hat. Help on how to get my video and audio in sync would be greatly apreciated, or any other ideas.
