im currently using a pioneer 105 with primo 2.0 firmware 1.0 i cant get any disk to burn faster than 1 speed i know these questions have already been asked but i just wanna know what happens if i upgrade
ive also been told to flash it with pioneers own flash will this help
sorry for being so thick but i dont want to f**k it up alltogether

To my knowledge there is no 2x4all on the 105. IF you are burning ok then I see no reason to upgrade. The only thing u can take advantage of is burning 4x on all your disks.

I flashed my 105 with the Pioneer updated firmware and all that happened was it made it more unreliable with "cheaper media", so if I were you I would wait for some hacked firmware to come available.

Pioneer will be releasing a new firmware soon to compensate for cheap media this has been ordered by the courts...

upgraded to the latest and havent noticed any differance
