£80 a very good buy indeed, been using one for about a year now and no problems, plays all the cdr, mp3 and vcd only slight criticism is its a wee bit slow in detecting type of disc but doesnt detract from an otherwise super machine.

yes i have noticed it seems to take about 20 secs before it boots into cdg mode ..tell me does yours make a little click noise as if its switching over to a completly different board inside the unit ?????? gram

yup, yours is working perfectly, lol. Its the chanters who complain, whats keeping you that usually drowns out the click. Best to try and stick to cdg or vcd discs and not to mix them if
possible.

I've had one for about 15 months, and up to now no bother at all.
plays everything my other machine rejects (vcd wise)
