Find out what foprmat his player will play. Some machines will play cdg and vcd as well as dvd but probably vcd would be best way to go IF his machine can handle them. Find out model number, make and so on. Whereabouts in the world are you?

Normally www.karaokeplayground.co.uk and the help pages would be the place to go but it has been down for a couple of days now, dart karaoke studio is one place to start, www.dartpro.com. If your reader wont even read a disc I dont see how you can extract the two parts to begin. You may have to start with mp3 of tracks you want and add graphics and video. time consuming but can be done. Have you thought of getting vcds of karaoke?
