A couple of years ago, I bought a webcam (Dlink DSB-C100B2 [clear case]) and I ran it in Win98 and everything worked fine. Now I have upgraded to WinXP and I cannot install the cam. I have downloaded the drivers from Dlink.com and I cannot get them to install correctly. I am getting a bunch of error messages like "cannot find ksuser.dll" and a bunch of other .dll files I can search the HDD and find some or use the WinXP Pro for some other files.
Can someone please help me get this right or give me directions on how to get this installed?
Thanks, any help will be appreciated.

first of uninstall the software..,unplug camera
turn of, plugin camera and reboot
normally XP should detect it/install drivers if needed and gives you np problem!
Go to my computer and there is ur camera/working whitout the software!?

if you got problems on the softwareinstall(missing files dll??!) normally ignore it and install
then go to the programfolder, Rightclick on the PROG-click properties-click "Compatibility" and change this to 98-ME Mode, give it a shot dud..
suc6 aight?!

hi there not to sure what the problem could be have u tried to reinstall direct x at all
and check the test program with it to make sure its running fine with your machine
the file is in my computer thenc drive and then programs then look for
direct x and in there is the test folder for it

this might be the problem you are having with the drivers not installing and cam not working too

I have not installed DirectX by itself. I have had DirectX installed along with some games, and those games play fine.

WindowsXP will install the drivers. You don't need to download anything or use any device driver disks. Just connect the USB webcam & in the task bar will appear the New Hardware found. Let XP search for the correct driver. Click on the NEw Hardware found & choose the "recommended" setting & XP will connect to the Miscorsoft home page & get the right driver.
