first of all, when i i select to boot to linux it fails on this:
bringing up interface eth0 [failed]


but that i don't care about. because when it asks me for my local host login name the screen blinks 3 times and then goes to this blue screen with two words i can select:
RGIRCGS AND GGNHGG (it's actually computer language with simbles on top of the G letter and R and S)

so i press enter to try to get out of that mess and it puts me back in localhost login:
I put my name andpassword
i type startx and get a hudge message
in it it says: "fatal server error: no screens found"


I changed the display during setup to higher resolution than 1024x768.

Could that be the problem?
How can i change it back though the command prompt?
I don't know linux! plz help!
