just installed windows xp profesional onto a IBM thinkpad 240 (type 2609) and i can't get the external cd-rom to work. its connected through one of the cards which i've forgot the name of, buggar!!! PCMICA slot i thinks. i've looked on the ibm web site but can't find owt.

can somebody please help. this is very important and the sooner the better.
