hi ppl, i have chipped xbox, but m8 dvd drive has gone balls up in it :( i know i can just replace it with a dvd rom that would connect with a pc, but can i just use any one, or does it have 2 b a specific one? lmk asap coz a want 2 get bac 2 playin halo :p cheers, heath :tup:

Yes you can use anyone - BUT you will only be able to play backed up games - you won't be able to play originals (apart from when using the LG DRD-8160B )

You'll also lose the functionality of the eject switch on the front of the xbox.
