Please, someone help me. I dont have any hair left because i am so mad. I have my box chiped with a matrix 2.5 evox bios. i get the red xbox so i know it is working. I tried to burn evolution x iso onto many types of dvd+rw and cd-rw and i get error number 16. I dont know what to do anymore. i have a dru500a and am using alchol burning program because nero does nto support the dru. i need help. i have a thompson dvd drive and it is a v1. evolution x 1.8.2.... what do u use to burn?? what program? r u burning at slow speed?

need to upgrade the bios to something decent like Xecutor 2 4974 and that should solve the problem.
Also try dvd-r for the evox disk

have you tried the goldberg method?very easy way of getting evox x up and running.

i have the dru500 also and nero does support this drive just make sure u have nero 5.5.9.17
