Now I'm really stuck!
Iv'e just started from the begining again on my PC but I cant seem to install my CD RW while my normal CDrom drive is in.:furious:
I can only get one to work at a time.

sounds like a conflict to me:

1 you aint set one to slave and the other to master with the dippy at the back of the unit

or

you connected the ide cable the wrong way on one of the drives

Whats a dippy?

if you look to the back of the cd unit where the ide lead plugs in well to the right of that is a set of prongs with a little (usually black but can be a different colour) square thing oover them it will be set on either master slave or CS(cable select)

if one of your drives is set to master the other needs to be set to slave or they will conflict



looks something like this :

make sure one drive is on MA and the other drive is on SL
