When I First Started to Burn Xbox Games I Used Ritek(purple dye) DVD-R. And They Worked Great, Games Worked Everytime. Then A Ran Across Some Princo 1x At A Good Price. And They Too Worked For Making Xbox Games, And Also For Burning DVD Movies. Well The Last Spindle Of Princos I Got (100 pack) Has Been Nothing But Problems. I Have About 30 Of Them Left. Only About 20 Out Of The 70 I Used Work. Of The 70 I Used, About 25 Were Going To Be Xbox Games. Only About 4 Of Them Worked. Well I Have A 25 Pack Of The Ritek Disk. The Problem With That Is Now My Xbox Won't Read The Ritek Disk Anymore. I Can Burn DVD's And They Work In my DVD Player, But Not The Xbox. So, I'm Looking To Try Some New DVD-R. What Brand Have Others Gotten To Work. I've Tried TDK, But They Don't Work In My Xbox. Thanks For Any Help.

Hi Tugger i must have been writing a post about this the same time as you LOL i use DVD MASTERS GEN 4s which i have found to be the best ever when writing films but problems on some x boxes they use the ritek dye so i dont know where to go from here ?

hi tugger ive used datasafe media( sliver ) also used white label( blue )
and i did use a unbranded disk which worked with my xbox but never worked on my mates .... hope this helps

I just got a version 1.0 xbox and it plays fujifilm dvd-r media movies fine. The fujifilm are about $3-$4 a disc but they do support the 4x burn. I hope this helps.

Well i've said this a few times now....but i guess i'll say it again, since i like to help peeps in need.;)

Anyways....I have always had no problems whatsoever using Generic Opaque(glossy) White Tops. They work flawlessly on both my Xbox and PS2. My PS2 mod installer got me turned on to these babies, because he uses them to test every mod installation he does.:D
They also only cost $0.68 a piece. Only downside to this is you have to buy by the spindle and they can only be burned at 1x.(no biggie to me)
