View Full Version : i cant see my xbox on ftp

hey im having problems seeing my xbox on ftp.... My dad has a router in his office that has 1 cable coming to my room and i have a hub with that 1 cable giving me 4 more ports.... i cant seem to login to the xbox on ftp....

the ip 192.168.0.3 wont even give me a welcome message heres what it says

Connecting to 192.168.0.3
Connection failed (Connection refused)
Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

then i tried logging in wit the DefaultGateway as an ip 192.168.0.1

this one went a lot farther here is what it says

someone please help me im using port 21 and username xbox and password xbox

miss out the router and everything else make sure you use a PC to PC RJ45 crossover network cable, idont think the one you use to your router or hub will work......

that is not the problem... i used the defaut gateway and i cant get in! i need to get in someone help me

Set the gateway on the XBox to the IP of your PC. What's your PC's IP? Are you booting evox off HD or DVD drive

Ok, set the Gateway within EvoX to the IP of your PC.
and vary the IP of the XBox from the PC by 1

Try that. Make sure you SAVE the setting of static IP in the menu in evox.

Reboot and try to connect
