In the confusion of figuring out how to use this DVD-Writer and all this encoding and stuff, somethings up with my Hard Drive Space. Last night when I was figuring how to use DVD2One, I ripped The Count of Monte Cristo several times, then figuring out what I did wrong, then deleting the files. But now my HD should be farely empty (Used: 1gig), and when I go into C: and select all files and folders, and go to Properties it's about 1.06gigabytes. But when i view the C: properties, and view the pie chart, it says I am using 6gigs. So I searched the drive for any M2V, VOB, IFO files, and it couldnt find any. So I basically dunno what I did here. I emptied the trash can. I did a disk drive cleanup. Restarted and shut down several times. I was thinkin, maybe when I was ripping, or encoding stuff, when I cancelled it, maybe the files got left there, even though they dont show up? anyway i dunno

do a search for files over say 500 megs? Try that, or 100 megs.

Do you have norton utilities installed (or systemworks) ? If so, you have to right-click recycle bin and choose "empty norton protected files" click on "purge all" to free up the disk space. Failing the discovery of large files on the HDD, try scheduling a disk check (assuming you are using xp) if filesizes are being misreported by windows, the scandisk should pick it up and rectify.
