After using DVD Decrypter to rip a DVD, have had zero success burning to DVD using Nero 5.5.9.14 and Sony DRU500A. I get an error message 'DVD-Video files reallocation failed.'

Have also tried DVD Cloner 1.83, which seems to be working fine until time to write. Says it's burning but the drive light doesn't even flicker. Waited it out for an hour once...

Have been able to copy unencrypted DVD's disc-to-disc with Veritas RecordNow.

Any and all advice appreciated.

Dont even bother with Nero, just use Record Now Max 4.5....Click to make a Data Disk, place both your audio and video folders in the pane and burn away. :round:

use your DVD Decrypter to record your ripped movies.

For me it works great! I use Nero 5.5.10.0. Just make sure that you burn as "DVD ROM (UDF)" and make sure that you use UDF 1.02. I have used 5.5.9+ of Nero. And again, just make sure that you use UDF 1.02, and that you burn a "DVD ROM"

Not familiar with Record Now Max 4.5.

Where can I find UDF 1.02? Is it a Nero plug-in?

My latest attempt with Nero resulted in the following error messages:

Required file '%s' is not present.
DVD-Video files allocation failed.
