In your advanced CCE guide flash presentation, i get to the stage where I am supposed to create that avs file in notepad. I did so, and made sure the extension was *.avs

however, when i drag and drop the file into CCE, i get a harry.avs is not a ECL Cinema Craft Encoder SP

all the paths in the avs file are correct.

any ideas what's going on?

may depend on the version of cce you have,,some versions dont
support scripts,,,

When you saved the avs file, did you make sure that you saved as "all files"?

Otherwise you would have a movie.avs.txt file and that won't be compatible with CCE.
