Morning,

When i play dvd or dvdr in win dvd the screen splits in half. One side is the movie the other is garbage. It then freezes.

Any help appreciated.

What happens when you play the dvd with Window Media Player? Do you get the same problem?

You might need the latest drivers for your video card.

Media player plays them fine.

At a loss.

hmm...maybe you have a curropt version of WinDVD?

Has Win DVD ever played a dvd properly or has this just started all of a sudden?

If it just started....I would suggest to uninstall it, reboot your pc and then re-install. Hopefully that will fix it.
