Hey folks, i have a friend that has an emachine that keeps giving her an error mesage of "device not ready cancel or retry"
I have tried diffrent cd's ,checking cables,tried diffrent cables, changing out cd player to new, removing it from device manager and rebooting to autodetect, setting it up as slaved on primary ide channel instead of sec channel as master, replacing drivers with ones i got from maufacturer, detecting in bios, and spending alot of time on this emonster. This list in not in order but you can get an idea of what else i may have missed.
If anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it greatly!
maybe something i forgot or retry. Maybe a setting. Oh by the way it will read occasionally. hahahaha! I am not ready to give up yet. Thanks in advance.
