I am looking for a cd rom to replace the one I have. It seems to be acting up. What I need to know is who can recommend a good but inexpensive drive, about 52 X and any recommendations as to where I should start looking? I was looking at Sony, and Asus, these seem to be the only ones out there making just a cd rom, but don't know how dependable either of these brands are. And what does anyone think of Hi Val? Thanks

Greets there are tons of cdroms out there... just because 52x dosen't mean it is better than 32x or 40x....... there are alot of thing to look at like DAE,Data transfer... ect ect!!
I would recomend a Liteon dvd player myself!!
