Hello Guys..

I was planning to buy a home theatre system and I found two in the same price range..

The First One is LG DA-3530 (Click here for Specs (http://www.lgegulf.com/lge/mdet.jsp?&model=DA-3530)) :

And the Second one is JVC TH-A30 (Click here for Sepcs (http://www.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL026890) ):

Which one do you advice me to buy? and why? Or do you recommend any other systems for the same price range?

Thanks everybody..

First of all, we need to realize that the difference in sound level b/w 25W and 30W is very tiny (can't tell) provided that they are rated at reasonably low harmonic distortion (less than 1%).

The 2 systems have almost similar features including the ability to playback MP3, CDR/RW, VCD, DVD, etc.

I would go with the JVC because it provides Digital Progressive Scan for DVD playback, a feature that gives you awesome picture on hi definition TV and projectors that support Progressive Scan. It also can play SVCD which has much higher qual video than the regular VCD (you can also burn SVCD with many burnware now).

I have used JVC HiFi components for years. I know JVC uses class A for their amps. Class A amp will give you sweeter sound than class D amp, which is what the LG system has.

hi i would say the package deal that panasonic is very good tooo
it holds the sounds and the subwoofer is amazing good
it all depends what u want
like what Van Nugent says
you need a high watt in speakers to get the full effect
hence the unit is not working hard
but i would sure check out the panasonic home system
well worth the money
and looks nice

backup2k1(the name u can trust)

ps

if u can upgrade the speakers for 100 pound
do this as u will get better sound from them
and all so better sub woofer
