Ive got a cd writer and its always worked fine. I rebooted the computer the other day and now its not working! Im using clone CD but when I try to copy on-the-fly it says something about the source and destination drives are both connected to the IDE cable, therefore, I cant use it! Help really needed!

Greets:) to copy on the fly your harddrive should be (Master ide1) & cdrom/dvdrom(Slave ide 1) and the Writer Should be (Master ide2) ...... right now you have the writer and cdrom/dvdrom on the same ide ribbion..... thats why your get'n the error....

Basically, your Reader and writer have to be on a different channel.
