When I insert a disc in EITHER drive nothing autoruns or shows up. If I click on the drive it will show the content. If I replace the disc with a different one it continues to show the first disc even when the drive is empty.The first disc to be inserted continues to show until reboot. Any help appreciated. Both drives are connected to the same IDE (master and slave ) they have run OK like this for months

I had the same prob a few days ago. Gooner was kind enuf to help me out. Read this post http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=234047 It tells ya how ta fix it. If theres a 0 just change it to a 1, reboot and whala!

In first instance, you need to go to Start, Run and type regedit.

When the registry editor opens go through the sequence in the other thread to change the key value.
