Hi everyone

My brother recently encouraged me to upgrade to the GeForce4 MX/Ti VGA card. Unfortunately the upgrade didn't take. I instantly began experiencing display problems, as soon as my mouse cursor moves over an icon on the desktop it disappears and everything freezes. I took out the GeForce card, put in my old card (Nvidia Riva TNT 2 Model 64) and uninstalled the GeForce drivers. But I am still having the same problems and the computer will only run when hardware accelerator is set to none. I have searched all over the net for the original drivers but to no avail. The reason I am searching for the "older" drivers rather the newer "detonator" type ones is that last year I tried upgrading my TNT2 drivers and I had this exact same problem. That time I was able to uninstall the newer drivers, do a scanreg/restore and reverted to an earlier date but now it just hasn't sorted out the situation.

I have a Pentium III 500. Operating system is Windows 98SE.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am currently pulling my hair out and considering hiring a hitman to sort out my brother!!

Hi mate. I have a original driver back-up cd that came with my old PC. It has the drivers you need on it. There are just the single files and NOT in a .exe or anything like that, just the .VXD files and a Readme.

They only come to around 2.5 meg so I can mail them to you if you give me your e-mail addy.

Mine is :- thelynxeffect_uk@yahoo.co.uk
