I am building a new system and am going to use an AMD XP2400+. i am just wondering what board you guys are reccomending. I am looking for a full size board with decent audio, no video, maybe a lan. Of course it needs USB and all the other goodies. I would prefer an asus board and was thinking the A7N8X but it is like $120 from the local supplier. I would like to stay under $100 if possible. Thanks.

the Albatron KM266 Socket A Motherboard is a very nice board...know people who have had good luck with it....check here http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Category/category_slc.asp?page=3&Id=1404

I'm guessing the A7N8X is the Nforce2 based Motherboard. Good choice the performance is superior to the ones with via chipsets but they are that much more expensive. I'm having the same problem deciding myself as I'm thinking of putting together a similar setup.

Chechout www.anandtech.com and www.tomshardware.com on reviews for recent AMD motherboards.
